A mid-weight, ikat weave Napkin.
A characteristic of ikat textiles is an apparent "blurriness" to the design. The blurriness is a result of the great difficulty the weaver has lining up the dyed yarns so that the checkered pattern lines up perfectly in the finished cloth. This prized characteristic is a result of resist (wax) applied to the yarns before they are woven into cloth.
